Americans Don't Know What To Make Of A Traditional War Dance Before A Basketball Game

They're competing, but they're definitely not playing.

New Zealand's national basketball team recently played the U.S.A. in Basketball World Cup, but they didn't just step onto the court. Instead, the Tall Blacks, whose nickname is derived from the All Blacks rugby team's original kit, gave an impressive display of spirit with a traditional Māori haka or war dance.

Suffice it to say, the American team looked completely baffled. Unfortunately for the New Zealanders, the game resulted in a 98-71 loss.
