Emma Morano is an inspiring person simply for being alive. Sounds like an easy feat at first, but this woman isn't just anyone. She is the last person in the whole world to have been born in the 1800s, and at 117 years old, she is the oldest woman alive.

Born in 1899 in Italy, Morano has "lived through three centuries, two world wars, and 90 Italian governments," according to the video above. Back in early November, she told the Agence France-Presse (AFP) that her secret to long life was eating cookies and raw eggs every day.

Happy birthday Emma!
