8 Best Carpool Karaoke Videos To Get You Moving And Grooving This Morning

Musical? Sure. Magical? DEFINITELY.

The morning commute is rarely the best part of your day, unless you're James Corden. He, with the help of some very special guests (like, ya know, Michelle Obama, Justin Bieber, and Adele), makes his morning commute musical and — dare we say? — magical. Luckily for all us mere mortals, he brings everyone along for the ride in his popular video series.

The infectious beat and irresistible good vibes of these videos prove you don't have to be a pop star to have a positive start to your day. That's why we compiled eight of our favorite carpool karaoke videos to ensure you start your morning off on the right note:

1. Michelle Obama

First up and first in our hearts is former First Lady Michelle Obama. She and James jam out to Stevie Wonder, Beyoncé, and Ms. Obama's own hit tune "This is for My Girls," featuring Missy Elliott ... who also just happens to join Corden and Obama in the carpool. The trio then finishes with the freshest rendition of "Get Ur Freak On" the internet has ever seen.

2. Stevie Wonder

Not only did Corden jam out to Stevie Wonder with Michelle, but he even got to drive around with the music icon himself. As the car ride progresses, one thing that's no small wonder is the legend's harmonica skills — and impression of a British accent. The best part of the ride, however, may just be when Wonder serenades Corden's wife, Julia, in an epic phone call.

3. Adele

Finally at home on the right side of the car and the left side of the road, Corden picks up the modern one-woman British invasion, Adele. The duo harmonizes to "Hello," as well as a compilation of Adele's other greatest hits. Besides dishing on the unparalleled influence of the Spice Girls on her early life, the singer also surprises fans with a hidden musical talent.

4. Lin-Manuel Miranda and company

Right before he hosted the Tony Awards, Corden was joined by some Broadway stars to belt out some show-stopping numbers. He began driving around the Upper West Side with Lin-Manuel Miranda, the mastermind behind Hamilton, picking up Audra McDonald, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Jane Krakowski along the way. In one of Corden's largest carpool karaoke sessions ever, the ensemble make classics from Rent, Jersey Boys, and Les Miserables even more classic with their collaborative renditions.

5. Jennifer Hudson

Off to a hilariously late start, Corden and Jennifer Hudson nonetheless make an important pit stop at Astro Burger. She offers to sing Corden's meal order for him, which he gratefully accepts ... and accompanies with a melodic impression of R. Kelly. After getting some much-needed nourishment, they drive by Hudson's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and, naturally, pull over to take a star-studded selfie.

6. Lady Gaga

This carpool is no perfect illusion, it's the real deal with American pop royalty Lady Gaga. In a carpool karaoke first, Gaga takes the wheel — and Corden's life — into her hands. Almost immediately donning a protective helmet, it's clear Corden thinks her driving is not nearly as smooth as her singing.

7. Bruno Mars

Corden and Bruno Mars step out in style with a glittery gold baseball cap and wide-brimmed, baby blue chapeau, respectively. The dapper duo then belt out the singer-songwriter's greatest hits while driving around Los Angeles. The highlight of the ride is definitely when Mars delights Corden with the Elvis Presley impression he's been honing since age 4.

8. Justin Bieber

Last but certainly not least, Justin Bieber is a veritable carpool karaoke veteran — and for good reason. Together, he and Corden put the "joy" in joyride. Dressed in matching tuxedos, J and J bromanced out on a very special post-Grammy's segment. If past performance is any indication of future performance, we can expect even more Bieber-infused Carpool Karaoke moments in the future.
