Pink's Powerful Performance Of Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' Might Just Give You Chills

Just another reminder of how incredibly talented the singer is.

Last month, Grammy-award winning singer Pink released the first official single off her forthcoming seventh album, Beautiful Trauma, titled "What About Us." A week later, she dropped a powerful music video for the track, which depicts the current political atmosphere in the U.S. and shows the importance of standing together in solidarity. If you know anything about the artist, you know she's never afraid to speak out about the causes she believes in.

Pink is the latest talented artist to visit BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, which has given us fantastic performances and covers from beloved musicians such as Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, HAIM, and more in the past. During her time there, Pink gave a stunning performance of "What About Us," but she performed a song we couldn't stop listening to three years ago.

She took on fellow Grammy Award winner's Sam Smith's 2014 hit "Stay With Me." The cover choice was timed pretty perfectly considering Smith just released his first new song in nearly two years. His new single, titled "Too Good at Goodbyes," is the first song the musician has released since his Oscar-winning Bond theme, "Writing's on the Wall," in 2015, and it's been even longer since In the Lonely Hour, which featured "Stay With Me," came out.

Pink paid homage to Smith's hit by performing the hell out of it. Seriously, her rendition of the song shows what an extremely talented singer she is and how powerful her voice can be. We had goosebumps after the first listen and we bet you might just feel the same way.
