Good Luck Getting Miley Cyrus's Emotional Love Song 'Malibu' Out Of Your Head

Spoiler alert: It's about Liam Hemsworth.

From Hannah Montana and Disney fame, to songs like "Party in the U.S.A." and "We Can't Stop," Miley Cyrus has proven her ability to do anything and everything — but now she is switching it up once again. With "Malibu," Cyrus has evolved once more and is embracing love.

This love, of course, is that which she shares with her fiancé, Australian acting heartthrob Liam Hemsworth. The two called off an engagement in 2013 after an on-and-off relationship, but reunited last year and are engaged once more. Now, the couple lives together in — you guessed it — Malibu, Calif., with their menagerie of animals.

Cyrus told Billboard she wrote "Malibu" in an Uber one day on the way to The Voice, and that it addresses her romance with Hemsworth head-on and displays how they feel this time around. Basically, the pop star's heart is wide open.

In the nearly four-minute music video, we see Cyrus out in nature — whether she is at the beach, in a forest, or in front of a waterfall — and showing a softer side that we haven't seen before. Cyrus is both flirty and bubbly in the clip, and it seems as if Hemsworth were behind the camera.

Funny thing is, though, Hemsworth actually took the artwork for the single.

While the entire song is quite the epic love song and does track Cyrus and Hemsworth's relationship, it's the end of the tune that is really the most emotional.

"We are just like the waves that flow back and forth / Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning and you're there to save me / And I want to thank you with all of my heart / It's a brand new start / A dream come true / In Malibu."
