While on tour with her second studio album Melodrama, Lorde gave fans in Milwaukee a very special treat.

The 21-year-old singer has previously discussed how her most recent album was inspired by Frank Ocean's 2016 album Blonde. In an interview with The Spinoff last June, she revealed that the album helped her with the arrangements for her record. "In this sort of post-'Blonde' landscape, we can all sort of do whatever we want in terms of instrumentation," she told the outlet. "It's exciting. I can use guitars and I can get a big gnarly Flume beat and throw it under water."

During the Milwaukee show, she surprised fans by performing a cover of the rapper's hit song "Solo" off of Blonde. "We've never done this," she told the audience, encouraging them to sing along. While her rendition is very close to Ocean's original, she did a stunning job at performing it live for the first time.

Back in February, Lorde teased in an Instagram story that she'd be performing an unreleased B side during her tour. "I may or may not have dug up a song that we wrote during the Melodrama sessions that didn't make it. One that I really love," she said on Instagram.

She held to that promise during the Milwaukee show when she performed an unreleased track from the album. While the song, which is reportedly called "Precious Metals," didn't make the Melodrama cut, we're glad she's sharing it with those who can't get enough of her music now.

You can watch her performance of the song in the video below.
