This Violin Cover Of Green Day's 'Boulevard Of Broken Dreams' Is Beautifully Relaxing

A refreshing take on the 2004 hit.

In 2004, Green Day released "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," and to this day, we haven't forgotten the lyrics. In fact, turn it on at just about any soiree and we're singing along instantly.

But in a different take on the song, Lindsey Stirling, a classically trained violinist and a dancer, too, covers the hit on her YouTube channel, playing it sans vocals. This summer, Stirling's touring around South America, in places like São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Guadalajara, Mexico, to name a few.

And this isn't the first time that Stirling's blown us away with her skills: in July, she teamed up with YouTuber Kurt Hugo Schneider for an incredible mountaintop performance of Selena Gomez and Kygo's "It Ain't Me."

Since uploading her Green Day cover, Stirling — who's released three of her own albums, too — has garnered more than 214,000 views of the video, with people adding their positive reactions in the comments section.
