One again, this season of The Voice features a number of incredibly talented teenage artists. Just a couple of weeks ago we met 13-year-old Quizz Swanigan, the youngest contestant the show has ever had. Then on Monday night's show, 15-year-old Hanna Eyre charmed the coaches with her refreshing take on Taylor Swift's "Blank Space."
For her blind audition, Hanna performed a slowed-down, piano-backed version of the pop hit that showed off her strong voice. "You just have an approach that's not like anybody else that I've ever heard. When you started singing, it almost sounded like a lullaby," said coach Blake Shelton, who turned his chair along with Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani. "You are miraculously talented," Adam told her.
As Blake pointed out, the teen — who gives piano lessons to children — also has an infectious smile that makes her a joy to watch. That positive energy, combined with her voice, prompted one YouTube commenter to write, "She needs to be in a Disney movie."
When it came time to choose a coach, Hanna went with Adam, who was the first to turn around for her. We can't wait to see what they come up with for future performances.
