Brian Justin Crum definitely gave the America's Got Talent judges "Somebody to Love." The 28-year-old singer from San Diego performed a stunning cover of the Queen classic during his audition on Tuesday night's show.
Brian revealed that he was bullied growing up for his weight and for being gay. He shared his appreciation for his mom, who has supported him through it all. Then it was time to show everyone what he has to offer.
Things started out fairly quiet, but as the song went on, Justin's performance became more and more powerful. Eventually the claps and cheers of the audience turned into his background track as he belted out the notes.
By time Brian reached the end of the song, the crowd and all four judges were on their feet.
The judges used up all four of their Golden Buzzer opportunities for this season before Brian's audition, but it seems pretty safe to say they would have pressed it for Brian if they could.
In his critique, judge Howie Mandel quipped, "I think tonight you found everybody to love you."
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell paid him the ultimate compliment, saying, "This is why these shows exist, to give people like you with huge talent an opportunity."
