Zooey Deschanel Plays Ellen's Silliest Game Yet To Raise Money For Breast Cancer Research

It's called "Speak Out."

Ellen DeGeneres loves to play games with her celebrity guests, and during Monday's episode of her show, the fun was for a good cause. The host convinced actress Zooey Deschanel to play a game called "Speak Out," in which she has to read phrases out loud with her mouth held open. It's up to Ellen to figure out what she's saying — and try not to laugh at how silly she looks.

Things start out strong, with Ellen correctly guessing "Pelicans and parakeets have a ball," but things get progressively more difficult. "I can't quickly pop balloons" sounds like "I paint quickly hot balloons" to Ellen. She gets the right answer eventually, but unfortunately, she can't quite figure out what Zooey is saying in the final clue. Listen carefully in the video below and see if you can hear it.

Ellen may not have gotten all the right answers, but she and Zooey still raised $25,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Ellen's show has been partnering with Ulta Beauty all October to support the organization as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Leave it to Ellen DeGeneres to make us all laugh for a good cause.
