17 Illustrations To Make Us Feel Better About The Moments We Wouldn't Exactly Brag About

“Krysteen recognizes that she can’t be perfect all the time and is OK with that."

We're all trying to get through this whole adulthood thing as best as we can. For some, that means working really hard most days to accomplish their dreams. For others, it means checking off a few things on their to-do list as they figure out what those dreams are. Either way, we all have lazy days, awkward moments, and exhausting conversations. And here to capture some of those times in the form of awesome illustrations is 20-something-year-old artist Christine.

In her series Yeah, It's Chill, she draws daily imperfect moments that we can all relate to. You know, like giving up after a few minutes of exercise, falling into a weird internet hole, and continuing to do the things we keep telling ourselves not to do. At the center of her series is her character, Krysteen, who she describes as "a little more dramatic and comfortable in her skin" than herself.

"Krysteen recognizes that she can't be perfect all the time and is OK with that," the illustrator told HuffPost. "There are so many expectations for women on how to live and be, but she knows that life isn't that neat."

Her illustrations are humorous, but honestly, the best part about scrolling through them is realizing that you're not alone in the ridiculous, lazy, or unnecessarily dramatic things you do. Krysteen isn't perfect, and neither is anyone else.

Below you'll find some of our favorite drawings from the series.
