When someone gets their wisdom teeth removed, they often have a dopey — and inadvertently hilarious — reaction to the anesthesia. Sometimes they're mad they didn't wake up with Nicki Minaj's behind or are hurt Beyoncé didn't show up like she promised. Other times, they're ready to take on the zombie apocalypse.
That's what happened when brothers Cabot, Hudson, and Barrett Phillips staged an elaborate video prank to convince their little sister, Millicent, that a zombie apocalypse had hit their hometown, Washington, D.C.
While driving home from her surgery, the prank unfolded when a fake Centers for Disease Control (CDC) warning came over the car radio, alerting citizens of "a viral outbreak" with "cases of high fever, nausea, death, and even cannibalism."
The brothers expected a hilarious reaction, but they got so much more.
Even in her anesthesia-induced state, Millicent showed natural zombie apocalypse survival instincts. When confronted with multiple preparation questions, she took decisive action.
She rightfully criticized her brother's weapon selection — a garden hoe.
She didn't waste a second making "Sophie's Choice" about which pet to save.
And she even discouraged a risky trip to Costco.
The only do-or-die decision Millicent couldn't make was whether the family should survive on funfetti or chocolate cake mix. Understandable.
Despite her grogginess, Millicent certainly proved herself a formidable opponent to any zombie unlucky enough to cross her path.
