17 Parents Anonymously Reveal Why They're 'Bad Parents,' And Remind Us No One Is Perfect

It's OK to admit our faults.

Raising children can be one of the most rewarding jobs on the planet, but in a world that's quick to judge others for their parenting styles, it can also be an extremely difficult, high-pressure, and thankless job.

Making things even harder is social media that highlights seemingly perfect parents, balancing it all, and doing everything right. But, newsflash, no such "perfection" exists — everyone makes mistakes raising their kids every now and then, and that's OK.

To prove it, 17 parents decided to reveal why they feel like they're a "bad parent" through the Whisper app, an online platform where people can anonymously reveal their stories and secrets.

Points of concern for the parents include, paying attention to kids when they cry, losing patience, and balancing work with family bonding time.

The confessions remind us that realistically, no one is perfect — and though parents may feel a certain way about themselves, it can also be comforting to know that everyone is bound to make mistake. As long as we do what is best for our families, the little screw ups along the way won't matter in the end.
