People On Antidepressants Boldly Share Their Experiences Despite The Stigma

Antidepressants have long been a controversial method of alleviating depression. While some may be all for it, there are others whom the medication affects negatively. But considering the high use of prescription drugs — close to 3 in 5 Americans take them — including antidepressants, passing sweeping judgment on how exactly antidepressants affect different people can do more harm than good.

So while we've heard much about the drug's side effects and the stigma attached to them, here are confessions from some of those who have benefitted from antidepressants.
