We're pretty sure taking wedding photographs falls under the most stressful experiences a person can have in their lifetime.
Not only are most of us not natural-born supermodels whose faces look good from every angle and whose bodies were chiseled following the ideal proportions of the Vitruvian Man, it's also a lot of pressure knowing you will have to look at those photographs for the rest of your life. Or, let's be honest, until you get a divorce.
So it's not a surprise that wedding photographers use various tricks to make their models feel more relaxed.
Wes Eisenhauer, a destination wedding photographer based out of Sioux Falls, S.D., employs a very sneaky tactic to get the most out of his shots.
Eisenhauer recently shared a photo from a small wedding in Yankton, saying 'I love telling my clients they can relax in between photos ... and then taking more photos.'
What a sneaky bastard, right?! But actually, his technique is genius if you want to capture the true, unstaged feelings.
People do feel more laid-back not knowing they're being photographed. And it's also that added surprise when you see a moment you never anticipated being captured.
