This Guy Got Slapped 100 Times. Here's Why He Was Asking For It.

A painful way to make a point.

If you could donate money to charity without actually losing any of your own money, would you do it?

Of course you would. You're not a monster.

So, with that in mind, there's an awesome company facilitating that exact scenario for its users every single day.

It's called Welzoo and, once you've signed up, it begins sending three cents a day to the charity of your choice on your behalf and you never have to think about it again.

"It's the only completely passive thing out there," Artur Fruman, a co-founder, told A Plus. "It's the most effortless and completely free way to raise money for your favorite organization."

You're probably skeptical. After all, money has to come from somewhere — right? Here's their solution:

You set Welzoo as your homepage:

The websites you see each day pay Welzoo to promote their pages and then Welzoo has the funds to donate.

Fruman explained that he and his co-founders came up with the idea for Welzoo upon realizing that while they genuinely wanted to contribute to organizations they believed in, they didn't exactly have the means. They figured plenty of their contemporaries were in the same boat and invented Welzoo in an effort to "take the pain out of giving back."

To illustrate their process, they made a video in which random people on the street were instructed to slap this face:

The hope is to drive home the point that they're taking on the burden or "pain" of giving back while the user or "slapper" doesn't have to worry about it. In one swift tap of their hand, the pain is officially unloaded onto the guys at Welzoo.
