Celebrities Wear Matching Orange Outfits To Raise Awareness About Gun Violence

What an incredible show of support.

One week after marching in President Obama's second inaugural parade, 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton was shot and killed on the South Side of Chicago. In tribute, her friends decided to wear orange — a color that they say symbolizes the value of human life.

Every year on June 2, people wear orange to remember Pendleton and the 30,000 other Americans who are killed by firearms annually. It's part of National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

Although President Obama recently enacted an executive action to help stem gun violence, more reforms are needed to reduce the number of gun-related tragedies in the United States.

Here are 11 celebrities who demonstrated their support on National Gun Violence Awareness Day by wearing orange.
