Sparklers are a fantastic gateway firework everyone used as a kid. There's a small, controlled burn that lights up just long enough to sing "Bibbidy-Bobbidy-Boo" from Cinderella and pretend it's a magic wand before it burns out, leaving nothing but a red hot sharp metal stick. (OK, maybe they're not great for children after all.)
Thankfully, a new video on the SlivkiShow YouTube channel shows us how sparklers can go from "meh" to "OH MY GOD, DID YOU SEE THAT?!" by lighting off not one, but 10,000 at once.
As explained in the video, if this amount of sparklers were lit one right after the other, there would be nonstop sparkler fun for two days straight. Putting them in a giant pot and lighting them at the same time, however, is a lot more satisfying.
This video is the essence of YouTube, combining insane things coming out of Russia, cute cats, using things in a way that is not consistent with manufacturer's directions, and cool explosions.
Don't try this one at home, because you'll probably burn your house down. Instead, start 2016 with a bang by enjoying this incredible reaction from the safety of your own computer:
