Undocumented Immigrants Tell The President-Elect That They Are Here To Stay

They're ready to fight.

Donald Trump began his 2016 presidential running calling for the deportation of undocumented immigrants. And now that he's won the election, some members of the immigrant community are concerned that Trump might follow through with his plan.

Up to 11 million undocumented immigrants would be subject to deportation under Trump's proposal — including half of them that would be considered "priorities" for eviction.

But many undocumented immigrants are refusing to go anywhere — and they're proudly standing up to Trump using the viral hashtag #HereToStay.

"To Donald Trump and the Republican Party, we say that we are #HereToStay and we are never backing down," Cristina Jimenez, executive director and co-founder of United We Dream, said in a statement.
