Watching Tom Hanks Recite His Rap From 'Big' Will Bring A Nostalgia-Induced Smile To Your Face

"Shimmy shimmy coco pop, shimmy shimmy rock!"

Remember Tom Hanks' 1988 film Big? In the movie, Hanks' character Josh starts out as a pre-teen boy who makes a wish to be a grown-up — only to have it come true.

The fantasy film follows Hanks as he navigates adult life, including having a job and dating. There's also plenty of fun to be had, as evidenced by this scene.

One of the most memorable moments of the flick is when Josh raps in order to convince his friend Billy that he's who he says he is. And we're so impressed that 28 years later, Hanks still knows the iconic verses!

Check out the video above to see him spit a few bars from one of his best-known films.
