For women, getting married and having children seems to be the expected trajectory when it comes to their future. Yet, so many women have very different ideas of what they want their lives to be like. Some don't ever want to get married or have children. Others want one, but not the other.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, but because of unfair societal demands, many women deal with people who just can't understand their chosen lifestyle. Even in 2016, women have even been called "selfish, shallow, and self-absorbed" because of their decision not to have kids.
Several women who have chosen not to procreate used the Whisper app to anonymously confess their thoughts and feelings. Their responses are a great reminder that we shouldn't jump to judge people who make different life choices than we'd expect. And we especially should not judge a women's worth as humans based on how many kids they have or don't have.
