The Rock Reveals The Important Words He Shared With His Daughter On Labor Day

You're never too young.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's youngest daughter Jasmine isn't even a year old yet, but that doesn't mean she's too young to learn a few important life lessons from her dad. The star, who already proved his dedication to diaper duty, shared a sweet father-daughter Instagram on Monday, along with a caption explaining how he chose to recognize Labor Day.

"One of my favorite holidays," he wrote, "as we celebrate the blue collar American worker and their contributions to our country thru labor and sweat."

"In the spirit of Labor Day," he continued, "I had an amazing philosophical conversation w/ my baby girl about the value of hard work and how respect is given when it's earned."

The Rock then repeated the words of wisdom he had shared with her: "Baby girl when you grow up, you get out there and dent the universe thru hard work and sweat. And always make sure you do it in a positive way with class, dignity and respect."

That's some pretty solid advice, and the actor says it was "a good talk," even if Jasmine didn't exactly have much to say in return. As her dad wrote, "She responded by poo'ing on me in this moment as she plays her favorite game, 'Drum time on daddy's big head.'"

But hey, if Jasmine grows up to be a professional drummer, that means she took her dad's advice and started putting in the work early. The poo, however, is another story.
