Taye Diggs Strikes A Pose For An Unforgettable Madonna Tribute On 'Lip Sync Battle'

He went all out.

Taye Diggs put his theatrical side to good use in Thursday's brand-new episode of Lip Sync Battle on Spike. The actor went all out for his performance of the 1990 Madonna classic "Vogue," and we predict the Queen of Pop herself would be proud.

Diggs started the performance in black and white, emerging from behind huge feather fans to reveal a costume fully inspired by the song's music video, complete with a blond wig and that iconic cone bra. The performance eventually turned to color as Diggs and his talented backup dancers proceeded to strike a pose.

The performance earned speechless reactions from hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen, as well as Diggs' competitor Ne-Yo, who earlier in the night had taken on Boyz II Men's "Motownphilly," complete with his own pretend group mates in matching outfits. They certainly had the moves.

It was an admirable effort, but really, how can you beat Taye Diggs in full Madonna garb? It's the kind of performance Lip Sync Battle was created for. Between this and Kate Upton's Britney Spears tribute last week, we're starting to hope this season will have a pop diva homage every week. Fingers crossed.
