These Mini Dioramas Will Make You Think Differently About Everyday Objects

So. Cool.

Every day for the past four years, Tatsuya Tanaka has been looking at ordinary objects such as toilet paper, fruit and cellphones a little differently than us.

While you might just see a bunch of green straws, Tanaka sees a forest. You see memory cards, he sees grand pianos.

Tanaka uses these objects and mini figurines to create playful tiny dioramas that he photographs every single day. He collects the photos into a project called Miniature Calendar and posts them on his Instagram
