This 7-Year-Old Battling Cancer Desperately Wants To Meet His Bald-Headed Hero, The Rock

Let's try to make this happen!

Seven-year-old Gabriel "Tater" Singleton from Chattanooga, Tenn., has a wish.

He is currently battling a form of cancer called neuroblastoma, according to Time, and has been through numerous rounds of chemotherapy.

His mother, Lulu, explained to WRCB TV, "Right now, the cancer is in his bone marrow and his bones. Originally, it was in his stomach and just everywhere."

Due to the chemo, Tater has lost his hair, which for a time kept him down. However, his mom had an idea to boost her son's confidence and thinking.

"He was kind of embarrassed about his bald head. So I would pull up The Rock's Instagram account and I'd say, 'Look! The Rock is bald, and he's so strong and he's awesome. You're just like him,' " she told WRCB.

Since The Rock has been such an inspiration to Tater, his mom now wants to try to get the pair to meet.

Through the power of social media, they have made some pretty astonishing progress.

The story has been shared on Time and Complex, and his video on YouTube now has more than 30,000 views.

The Children's Hospital at Erlanger also shared his post with its 20,000 followers. The post currently has almost 5,000 shares as of Monday afternoon.

You can help, too.

While we wait for The Rock to respond to Tater, you can share the above post on your own Facebook or social media pages.

Hopefully The Rock sees Tater and his bravery and the two can finally meet up.
