"Don't you just love bananas?"
That's the question artist Stephan Brusche asks on his website, Fruitdoodle, where he showcases incredible banana art that make us love the fruit even more than we already do.
In fact, TIME Magazine called the art the "visual movement we've been waiting for" in February.
Brusche told Bored Panda that he's inspired by things like animals and movies, and that his portfolio of work shows an artistic progression from drawing to carving.
"I tried to come up with new ideas for drawings while using the shape of the banana in all kinds of clever ways. Trying to keep pushing myself I eventually started to carve in the banana peel as well," he said.
In an impressive collection of banana art, featured on Brusche's Instagram, the fruit takes on the appearance of a giraffe, an elephant, the iconic Marilyn Monroe, Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night," and a scene from Jurassic Park.
