Love May Come While You're Chasing Your Dreams. Jenna Dewan Tatum Knows This Firsthand.

"It's very sentimental and amazing for me to watch."

It’s been about 12 years since Step Up danced into our lives and completely changed the lives of its two stars — Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum — more than they could have ever known. Now, thanks to an uber-cute throwback video of their audition tape together, we see the moment where these two first met.

Jenna shared the oh-so-sweet clip in anticipation for the couple’s new YouTube Red series Step Up: High Water— the latest in the franchise, which also includes four sequels to the original. In it, we see her and Channing doing some choreography together and testing out their chemistry.

The World of Dance host calls the video “really cute,” “really embarrassing,” and overall “crazy,” telling us to watch out for how many times we hear her giggle or laugh. While that all happens a lot, we love the moment when she says it looks like they’re “posing for our prom.”

“It’s very sentimental and amazing for me to watch,” Jenna says of the clip from 2005, clearly thinking about all the time that has passed since and the moments that have shaped their lives together. These moments include getting engaged in 2008, getting married in 2009, and having a child, a daughter named Everly, who was born in 2013, and so much more.

This goes to show that, sometimes, all it takes is for one special moment to shape your life. As Jenna puts it, this was just "the beginning of so many amazing things in my life!"
