These Tweets Are Only Five Words, But They Perfectly Sum Up Everyday 'Emergencies'

"Sorry, we stopped serving breakfast."

After a rough day at work that can only be categorized as #TheWorst, all you want to do is go home and unwind with some wine. But because yesterday sucked too, you know you're all out.

So you stop by a store near your office, select a bottle, and wait in line. $12.99. You pull out your credit card to pay, only to hear the cashier utter the words "cash only." Panic fills your body. You don't have any cash on you. You never have cash.

It's everyday problems like these that make our hearts race and our moods sink. They may be small in the grand scheme of things, but in the moment they can feel seriously tragic.

People have taken to Twitter to share their own everyday tragedies using the hashtag #StateOfEmergencyIn5Words.
