You Can Support Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation By Simply Buying A Drink At Starbucks

Mother Monster is spreading compassion, generosity, and respect via these beverages.

Two huge forces are coming together to make a difference in the world all in the name of kindness. Starbucks and Lady Gaga have teamed up to raise money for the singer's Born This Way Foundation with a collection of four drinks called the Cups of Kindness collection.

"We're healthier and happier when we live our lives with compassion and our communities are stronger when we treat one another with generosity and respect," Lady Gaga said via a press release. "Born This Way Foundation and I are so excited to partner with Starbucks to help inspire positivity and love through the Cups of Kindness collection."

Beginning June 13, 25 cents of every purchase of these drinks — including new drinks such as the Matcha Lemonade and Violet Drink as well as existing creations such as the Pink Drink and the Ombré Pink Drink — from participating Starbucks stores in the United States and Canada will go directly to the organization. The promotion runs through June 19 and Starbucks has already committed a minimum of $250,000 to the cause.

The Born This Way Foundation was established in 2011 by Gaga and subscribes to a mission of "supporting the wellness of young people and empowering them to create a kinder and braver world." The organization's Channel Kindness program — which features stories of kindness documented by young people around the U.S. — will directly benefit from this Starbucks partnership.

As for which drink the singer "instantly fell in love with," that honor goes to the Matcha Lemonade. All four drinks are nondairy, come in at under 150 calories for a grande size, colorful, and were handpicked by none other than Gaga herself.
