You can say what you want about flash mobs and over the top marriage proposals, but there's no denying that this spin class proposal was pretty damn cute.
Instructor Jared Marinelli began his Valentine's Day spin class like he would any other, but moments after the music started, the participants went rogue. Little did the stunned instructor know, but his boyfriend of one year, Adam Keller, who was riding in the front row was about to ask a very important question.
Before the big day, the riders, friends, and family practiced the choreography.
Everything needed to go smoothly.
According to JoyRide Studio, where the proposal took place, everyone went through the motions three times in order to make sure everything and everyone was in the right place. And since a production crew was going to be there to film the flash mob, they made sure to tell Jared that his class was going to be filmed for a promotion video.
You could say he was surprised after he figured out it wasn't a promotional video that was being filmed.
Once the riders got back onto their bikes, there was another surprise ... friends and family.
Friends and family members of the two men paraded into the room carrying signs showing their support for the two and briefly mentioning how they met — at spin class of course!
Last March, Adam arrived at JoyRide looking for a job as an instructor and Jared was given the task to train him and, as the saying goes, the rest is history.
Understandably Jared teared up at the flash mob.
And before anymore tears were shed, Adam hopped off his bike and went to the front of the room where there was only one more thing to do ...
Ask Jared to marry him.
It was a no-brainer for Jared, he said yes!
Congrats to the happy couple!
