It was "just another day with the Claus family!" 16-year-old Spencer Claus tells BuzzFeed.
On that day, Claus and his father decided to shoot a series of portraits for Father's Day, in which Claus' father would rock the same makeup look as his son's, showing support for both Spencer and his passions.
The photos feature the pair wearing bold brows, a dark brown lip, and a subtle smokey eye while posing in similar fashions.
"Makeup allows for the ability of transformation," Claus, who's been working with makeup for about two years now, tells A Plus in an email. In the future, he hopes to pursue a career as a performer, particularly in theater, makeup, and writing. "I think most people think of makeup as a way to cover things up, but I think makeup is a means to enhance the features you already have."
Claus then took to Twitter to share the beautiful photos with the world. "Like father like son, right?" he writes in the post.
Since posting, Claus' tweet has been favorited nearly 30 thousand times along with receiving a ton of positive comments.
"I receive so much more love than I do hate. So many people said 'parenting done right' or something to that effect, which I think is absolutely true," Claus tells BuzzFeed. "I have been extremely fortunate to have the supportive parents I do and I am forever grateful to them."
Moreover, when asked what he hopes other parents of LGBTQ kids learn from his photos and experiences, Claus tells A Plus:
