Players with enormous prehensile trunks are not typically the first thing that come to mind when you think of soccer.
But then again, Shanti and Amari, a pair of three-ton elephants, aren't exactly your typical soccer players. In the video above, the two clever mammals take on a group of young boys at Indalu, a game farm just outside Mossel Bay in the Western Cape of South Africa, according to the YouTube description.

Apparently, the boys used trees as makeshift goals and pulled off a narrow 3-2 victory. But we're going to have to give the elephants an MVP award — that is, Most Valuable Pachyderms.
