Erupting Volcano Gives The World A Precious Little Smile

Just keep smiling.

One volcano in Hawaii seems to be having a particularly good day.

A video courtesy of Paradise Helicopters shows Hawaii's Kilauea volcano, which has been erupting for more than 33 years, flashing what looks a lot like a giant, red-hot smile.

The Huffington Post explains that it's "the lava pond inside Kilauea's Puʻu ʻŌʻō vent" that seems to be erupting in the shape of a smile — with two round eyes and a perfect grin.

Moreover, "lava from the Hawaiian volcano's Pu'u O'o crater reached the ocean for the first time since 2013," ABC News reports.
