We've All Seen Wedding Toasts Before, But This One Takes The Cake

Raise a glass!

We know what a regular wedding toast sounds like. The best man and the maid of honor take turns standing up, telling the crowd how long they've known the bride and groom, and tell a few jokes, all while sweating profusely and looking uncomfortable.

But every so often, a wedding toast comes along that knocks it out of the park.

When Kate and John got married recently in Lake Tahoe, California, the bride's two sisters served as co-maids of honor. Rather than retell their sister's love story the old fashioned way, they decided to give it a twist. They asked the DJ to drop a beat, and then — well, we don't want to spoil it Just watch...

"Now you're never gonna be lonely, cause you're with the best guy of all time."

Of course, singing a toast isn't a totally new idea, but this duet didn't stop at one song. They rolled through two Michael Jackson songs, "I Want You Back" and "Black Or White," and even busted out some Backstreet Boys. The changed lyrics to "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" recalled Kate and John's first date, when the sisters were trying to get information from her about how it went.

The crowd, as expected, absolutely loved it.

They ended it with "Oh, Happy Day," from the soundtrack of Sister Act II, which is an extremely good choice.

But what about the bride and groom? What did they think?

They absolutely loved it.
