Her School Was Having A Daddy-Daughter Dance, But She Never Expected An Invitation Like This

And so, the 'Man of the Year' award goes to ...

Pull out your moleskines, boys, it's time to take some serious notes. Your lecturer — Jason Garmon, single dad of two from Virginia.

A few days ago, Garmon shared a heart-melting post on Facebook about the way he asked his daughter Skylar to the school's daddy-daughter dance.

It wasn't long until the post started spreading all across the Internet. Why? Well, for a number of reasons.

First off, although the surprise was for his daughter, Jason didn't forget to include her brother in the family shebang.

Not only is it great that the two spent some quality time together planning this even for Skylar, Jason's "lead by example" approach will teach his son Grayson the important of being a gentleman at an early age.

Secondly, Garmon made sure everything is as chic as it can be and really set the bar high for Skylar's future admirers.

And lastly, he shared some words of wisdom that should win him the 'Man of the Year' award.

'I don't care if it's your daughter, your girlfriend or your wife, the day you stop trying is the day you'll lose her,' Garmon writes.
