Two members of the Final Five gymnastics team are proving that their bond is strong enough to go beyond the mat to the dance floor.
Laurie Hernandez bestowed her lucky shoes from when she competed on — and won with the help of professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy — Dancing With the Stars to her Olympics teammate Simone Biles ahead of the new season.
We're pretty positive that 16-year-old Hernandez — as well as fellow teammates Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian, and Aly Raisman (who also competed on DWTS) — will be cheering on 19-year-old Biles throughout her time on the reality TV competition show.
"Love this girl to death," Biles captioned a photo of herself and Hernandez sharing a big hug after the silver sequin sneakers had been exchanged. "Thanks for passing your lucky shoes onto [sic] me for this season of DWTS."
Hernandez, on the other hand, shared a photo of herself and Biles wishing her teammate — who is dancing alongside professional dancer Sasha Farber — good luck.
Biles will be competing against model and bull rider Bonner Bolton, triple threat Charo, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and singer Erika Jayne, NFL star Rashad Jennings, actor and comedian Chris Kattan, former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei, Glee alum Heather Morris, former MLB catcher David Ross, actor and former wrestler Mr. T, and The Bachelor's Nick Viall.
DWTS season 24 kicks off on Monday, March 20, on ABC, so get ready!
