First, he had to navigate her into the car, though. She can't exactly see great under that wig, so it's probably for the best that Corden was the one doing the driving.
That got them talking about her wigs and elaborate headdresses she's famous for wearing. Sia explained that she doesn't always wear wigs and hats that cover her face. "I don't wear this unless there's cameras around," she told Corden. "I only wear this just to try to maintain a modicum of privacy."
Then, she explained how it all started.
"I was a singer already for 10 or 11 years to mediocre success. I was an alcoholic and a drug addict," she said. "I sobered up and decided I didn't want to be an artist anymore because I was starting to get a little bit famous and it was destabilizing in some way. So I thought, what doesn't exist in pop music at the moment? And it was mystery. I was like, you know, there's pictures on Instagram of everyone at the dentist."
Watch the pair belt out Sia's hits "Chandelier" and "Alive," talk about aliens, and do some weird thing with eggs in the video above.
