Scarlett Johansson Hung Out With Her 72-Year-Old Look-Alike At Her Movie Premiere

The grandmother used to look just like her.

Have you ever been told you look like a celebrity? Chances are, that celebrity probably isn't 40 years younger than you. However, that was the case for 72-year-old Geraldine Dodd, who recently got to hang out with her celebrity doppelgänger, Scarlett Johansson.

It all started when Dodd's grandson Denver posted an old photo of her on Reddit and pointed out how much she used to look like Scarlett Johansson when she was younger.

The photo got around to Johansson, who was in agreement about the resemblance. When she found out that Dodd was apparently "drunk as a skunk" in the old photo, the actress decided to make a video inviting her to the premiere of her new movie Rough Night (in theaters now).

Dodd took her up on her offer, and the pair posed together on the red carpet with funny purses that looked like mixed-up name tags.

Johansson recently told Stephen Colbert about the experience on The Late Show, where she explained that Dodd was 22 in the old photo. "This woman looks exactly like me," she said, adding that they got "kind of trashed" at the premiere, and that Dodd was "so nice."

"Honestly, it was wonderful to meet her," she said. "She's from Arkansas, and her daughter, of course, owns a bar. And I will eventually make my way to Arkansas and continue this lovely family reunion. She's just awesome."
