Ryan Reynolds' Advice For All Dads Of Newborn Babies Is Hilarious Perfection

Ryan Reynolds has been all over TV and the Internet the past few weeks thanks to his new flick, Deadpool, arriving in theaters today.

The doting dad swung by Late Night With Seth Meyers last night to chat about the R-rated superhero film, as well as how he's embracing his fatherly duties.

Meyers, who himself is expecting a child with his wife Alexi Ashe, was getting some advice from Reynolds, who revealed that he played wife Blake Lively a special song during her visit to the delivery room to give birth to their daughter, James.

But, well, his song choice is more of a baby-making tune than a baby-birthing one. Her reaction to the playlist?

"It was like steak knives came out of her eyes," Reynolds said, adding that she followed up with "Are you f***ing kidding me right now?"

After hearing what he chose, you might ask the same thing. Check out the clip below to find out what played:

But it sounds like things went well, as the pair were making jokes throughout the event and welcoming their little girl.

Ryan did have some great advice for Seth, though, about other ways to be a good dad.

"Just do the dirty work, man. You gotta do the diapers, you gotta do the middle-of-the-night thing ... a human being will exit your wife, she's done enough," he advised.

Well said.
