Notorious R.B.G Has Something To Say About Women In The Supreme Court

Notorious R.B.G strikes again.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg proved, once again, that she is the Master of the Retort and the Queen of the Internet. She held a talk at Georgetown University Law Center where she spoke about her experience as a woman in law.

Justice Ginsburg was the second woman to be appointed to the Supreme Court when she was sworn in in 1993, and is one of only four women to ever serve on the court.

When it comes to the staggering lack of female participation in the highest court in the land, Justice Ginsburg had a very pointed response.

"People ask me sometimes, 'When do you think it will be enough? When will there be enough women on the court?' And my answer is when there are 9."

It's public comments like this that inspired the wildly popular Notorious R.B.G. website and apparel.

If you need an additional reminder of how much of a bada** Justice Ginsburg is, let's take a moment to remember her dissent in the Supreme Court's decision in the Hobby Lobby case.
