Husband Writes Heartfelt Note Celebrating His Wife For Who She Is, Asks Other Men To Do The Same

"She has beautiful stretch marks on her hips and cute little dimples on her booty."

While we can always work on our own daily, positive affirmations, sometimes we need support from others to remind us just how beautiful we are.

Recently, Robbie Tripp, who is married to his wife, Sarah, took to Instagram to pen her a beautiful open letter filled with compliments and love for her "curvy body." He also asked other men to stop listening to what society classifies as "beautiful" and to love women for who they are.

First, Robbie talks about being teased as a teenager for being attracted to girls others deemed "fat."

"Then, as I became a man and started to educate myself on issues such as feminism and how the media marginalizes women by portraying a very narrow and very specific standard of beauty (thin, tall, lean), I realized how many men have bought into that lie," he writes.

From there, he continues to list all the reasons why his wife is sexy, including her shape, her stretch marks, and her dimples.

"Guys, rethink what society has told you that you should desire. A real woman is not a porn star or a bikini mannequin or a movie character. She's real. She has beautiful stretch marks on her hips and cute little dimples on her booty. Girls, don't ever fool yourself [into] thinking you have to fit a certain mold to be loved and appreciated. There is a guy out there who is going to celebrate you for exactly who you are ... " Robbie adds.

Robbie also brings up the fact that women of his wife's shape aren't often featured on the covers of magazines. And while that may be the case, we shouldn't settle for that. Body-positive role models such as Ashley Graham and Iskra Lawrence have landed some covers, but we should all demand that the fashion and magazine industries continue to feature people of all shapes and sizes in their shows, photos, and beyond.

"He always makes me feel so loved and appreciated," Sarah, 25, told Today. "As a body-positive fashion blogger, I've been very open about my body-love journey and my goal to help other curvy women learn to love their body. I just feel so lucky that I have a husband who has loved every inch of me since the day we met."

So far, Robbie's post has been liked over 14 thousand times, with people adding their praise and thanks in the comments section.

"I want to thank you so much for this post ..." one woman comments. "I am a curvy woman too and my husband loves my curves — every dimple, every roll. I think all men should read this post."

"This wins the Internet! Here's hoping I find someone who loves my rolls same as you love [Sarah's]," another adds.
