Richard Sherman is one of the NFL's most feared cornerbacks, and ever since his tirade after the Seattle Seahawks beat the San Francisco 49ers in the 2014 NFC Championship, he's been unfairly painted as something of a thug. Take him out of the context of winning a huge game and being jacked up on adrenaline, though — in other words, put him in just about any other moment of his life — and he actually comes across as a very thoughtful, funny dude.
Lyft must be in the know to Sherman's lighter side, because it smartly recruited him to take part in its latest "Undercover Lyft" video. The concept is pretty simple: a famous athlete drives around in a car synched up with Lyft, picking up random passengers as they naturally match.
In Sherman's episode, he, of course, drove around Seattle, wearing a Baja hoodie and rasta cap. It didn't take long for the passengers that got in to notice he wasn't your average driver, and even if they weren't big football fans, the dynamic played out for some solid laughs.
