Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Spread May Spark A Food Renaissance
We're putting it on kale and ice cream.
The Hershey's company announced the latest in peanut butter cup design: spreads.
According to the press release, "Based on the iconic Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, new Reese's Spreads will make snacking even more delicious and can be enjoyed on any food, anytime, anywhere."
That's right. No longer will you be limited to two cups or a bag full of the miniature cups. You can now enjoy those "two great tastes that taste great together" with anything you want.
ANYTHING. YOU. WANT.
"Now, with Reese's Spreads, consumers can create new snacking experiences that deliver the perfect taste only the Reese's brand can provide. From toast and waffles to apples and bananas to pretzels and vanilla wafers, the new spreads add that distinct flavor and brings endless opportunities to just about any snack. "
We're talking about a major expansion of snacking possibilities, friends.
"Reese's Spreads are now available nationwide at food, mass, drug and convenience stores in 13-ounce jars that retail for $3.89," the peanut butter peddlers write, adding that "Reese's Spreads complement the existing Hershey's Spreads line of chocolate spreads, available in three varieties: Chocolate, Chocolate with Almond and Chocolate with Hazelnut."
