Rapper Kendrick Lamar recently met up with President Barack Obama in the Oval Office.
Lamar met with President Obama to discuss the importance of having mentors when growing up.
In the video posted by his record label, Top Dawg Entertainment, Lamar says, "As a kid, having a mentor was vital to me...It's only right that I mentor a younger person with the same wisdom that was given to me."
The video was posted in partnership with the organization www.Mentoring.org.
Obama's senior advisor Valerie Jarrett also told Buzzfeed's "Another Round" that Lamar was nervous meeting the President.
Obama couldn't quite believe the meeting was happening either, telling the rapper, "Can you believe we're both sitting this Oval Office?"
Pretty incredible that Obama felt just as shocked about the situation as Lamar did.
