Doritos Helps To Raise Awareness For LGBT Teens With New Rainbow Chips

Raising awareness in a delicious way. #BoldAndBetter.

Doritos unleashed a brand new chip theme today called Rainbows, along with the hashtag #BoldAndBetter. The new, diverse flavor was created in partnership with the awareness group It Gets Better.

The mission of It Gets Better is to, "communicate to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth around the world that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to make it better for them."

According to, the rainbow colored chips are a "limited-edition version of its Cool Ranch-flavored tortilla chips."

Instead of just going to the store and buying a bag, Doritos has a different plan on how to get their new chips in your hands.

In order to get a bag, you have to go to the Doritos website and make a donation to the It Gets Better Project.

Donations start at $10 and can go all the way up to $100. You can also choose to donate a higher amount if you choose.

Once you enter all your credit card information, you then have to share your support on Twitter and Facebook, helping to further spread awareness to your friends and family.

People on Twitter were quick to notice the new chip and get on board with the initiative.

So head on over to the Doritos website to order yourselves a bag to help spread awareness! Follow the link here.
