Watch Barack Obama Recap His Presidency In A Slow Jam With Jimmy Fallon

A hilarious performance from the "commander-in-preach."

With this year's election fast approaching, Barack Obama's second term as president of the United States will soon be coming to an end.

Thursday night on The Tonight Show, host Jimmy Fallon helped Obama recap the many things he's accomplished during his eight years in office. Obviously they did it in the form of a slow jam, because why not?

As Obama summarized his accomplishments, from lowering unemployment to legalizing gay marriage, Jimmy spiced things up with some soulfully delivered innuendo.

"Through the actions of my administration, we were able to stimulate the economy and get our country back on track," Obama explained.

"In 2008, the country wasn't feeling in the mood," Jimmy added, before extending the steamy metaphor to describe Obama lighting candles and using "silky satin sheets" to create new jobs.

After a quick dance break to Rihanna's "Work"...

... Jimmy and the president went on to discuss the current election. Obama got snarky when the subject of Donald Trump came up, quipping, "I have been watching my new favorite show, Orange Is Not The New Black."

To quote The Roots' Black Thought, "Does Obamacare cover burns?"

And don't worry, our "commander-in-preach" also made sure to end things with a mic drop.
