Wife Tells Husband About Buns In The Oven. She Meant It Literally.

Keep those tissues nearby.

Dana Griffin-Graves and her husband Arkell nearly gave up on having their own children. After 17 years of marriage, the Virginia couple suffered four miscarriages and a stillborn birth.

But then, Griffin-Graves recently discovered some delightfully pleasant news.

She was five months pregnant.

"I was ecstatic," she told Buzzfeed. "We hadn't planned anything, we weren't trying."

To share this joyous news with her husband, she developed a clever plan. She put the baby's ultrasound in the oven next to buns, and videotaped her husband's reaction.

"There's some stuff in the oven, too," she tells her husband in the video.

He checks the oven and his facial expressions tell the entire story.

“You’re pregnant,” he says as he quickly turns around. “You’re pregnant.”

"That's why I couldn't lose weight," she says in the video.

She continues to tell him the good news. He starts to cry and wants to hug his wife.

"Due February 16th," she says. "And it's a boy."

At that point, he cries so hard that he covers his face with his shirt.

Arkell's emotional moment has become a viral sensation.

"A lady just came up to me and said you're the big guy who was on there crying," he said to WRIC. "Everything is going to be ok. I'm praying for you. You know in these times we need prayer. So I will take all the prayers I don't care how they come."
