Man And Cancer Survivor Wife Surprised With Their Dream Wedding And A Check For $20K

They "prank it forward."

Pranks are typically executed to trick, scare or annoy another person, but that's not the case with video sharing site Break.com's "Prank It Forward" campaign.

In partnership with Barefoot Wine, Break brought back their charity-based prank video series and found the perfect couple to target: Jersey City residents Mario and Elaine.

After Mario initially proposed, Elaine was diagnosed with a form of cancer called Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He quit his job to take care of her.

"You don't know the pain it is to see your loved one go through this and there's nothing I can do," Mario told Prank It Forward.

Elaine is now in remission, but thanks to the cancer and subsequent medical bills, the couple had to postpone their wedding for six years.

Until now.

"Prank It Forward" helped surprise the couple with their dream wedding.

They set up a movie screening detailing the couple's love story. Mario then asked if they could get married right then and there in the theater. She said "yes."

Elaine's family and friends then whisked her away to get ready for the wedding of her dreams, which of course included picking out her dress.

Once at the alter, they said their own vows.

"When you stayed through everything, I knew you were the one," Elaine said.

But the surprises didn't end there.

"Prank It Forward" host Greg Benson also gave the couple a check for $20,000.

Elaine was completely speechless.

"I .. thank you... thank you" she said.

Congrats Mario and Elaine!
