It was a scary scene in Antioquia, Colombia on Wednesday when officers were forced to leap into a flooded river to save a drowning dog.
The animal was seen being carried by the current downstream, trying to keep its head above water, and the officers had just moments to decide whether to jump in or let the dog go.
"Get in! Get in!" the officers are heard yelling in Spanish.
Fortunately, one brave officer was willing to fight the strong currents and step into the river, catching the dog as it floated past.
Thanks to days of rain, much of the Liboriana river had flooded and officers like this one were called into the area to help.
Clearly, it's a good thing they were there.
