When it comes to music, Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" is an emotional force to be reckoned with.

Likewise, as an acapella group, Pentatonix's talent cannot be ignored. Their covers, ranging from Kiiara's "Gold" to "Mary, Did You Know?" and "Jolene," have reached millions of viewers since being shared on YouTube and across the internet. 

And on Friday, Pentatonix released a cover much like Jeff Buckley's version of the powerful song and we could not think of a better match.

A video of the cover, which can be found on YouTube, places the group in a barren expanse as they sing every last drop of the song with precision, strength, and incredible passion.
